HBO removes Russell Simmons’ name from All Def Comedy following sexual assault allegation

"However, Russell Simmons will not appear in the new series and we will be removing his name from the show moving forward.” Earlier today, the hip-hop mogul announced he was stepping down from his various businesses after Rachel Getting Married screenwriter Jenny Lumet alleged he raped her when she was 24 years old.
