Fox reportedly wants to borrow Mike Tirico from NBC in hopes of luring Peyton Manning to the NFL broadcast booth

The Winter Olympics host was calling Thursday Night Football games for NBC last season -- and Fox wants to keep him on Thursday nights, even though the NFL Thursday package has switched networks. According to The New York Post, Manning is only interested in working in the broadcast booth if he's paired with Tirico. The Post reports that NBC has yet to be approached with the unusual proposal. Tirico is already scheduled to call Notre Dame's home football games on Saturdays this fall.
