Emily VanCamp: Playing a borderline sociopath on Revenge "took a toll"

VanCamp is glad her role on Fox's The Resident is completely different from the Revenge role she played for four seasons on ABC. "That was part of the appeal," she says. "Playing a borderline sociopath was one of my favorite experiences, but it also took a toll. With Nic, I get to tap into more of my true self. Her maternal side spoke to the stage of life I’m in now."
