Donald Glover: We wanted Jaden Smith for Atlanta's pilot

Glover says he originally intended to use Smith to tell the story of a character who got shot in the pilot. “We never did it because Jaden Smith was busy," says Glover. "We were supposed to release it online, just read(ing the script), which we still could do. Stephen wrote it. It’s really good.”
