David Blaine moves his YouTube Ascension helium balloon stunt from New York City to Arizona

Instead of floating over the Hudson River from New Jersey to New York City strapped to helium balloons live on Monday, as originally planned, Blaine is moving his Ascension stunt to Arizona due to logistical problems. “Because of the complexity of this project, I’m not going forward with my plans to do New York City at this time,” Blaine said in a video announcing the change Sunday. Blaine said he plans to do his stunt on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the wind.
