Dakota Johnson to star in Amazon mockumentary series Rodeo Queens

Johnson has signed on to star in a mockumentary set in the rodeo world "that follows an ensemble of Rodeo Queen hopefuls as they compete for the coveted crown," per The Hollywood Reporter. Rodeo Queens, which is in development, is from I Am Not Okay with This co-creator Christy Hall with Carrie Brownstein serving as director. Should Rodeo Queens be picked up to series, it will mark Johnson's second lead TV series regular role after Fox's short-lived 2012-13 comedy Ben and Kate.
