Constance Wu sets TV return in Amazon's The Terminal List

The Fresh Off the Boat alum has signed on as the female lead, co-starring opposite Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch, in the conspiracy thriller based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel. The Terminal List focuses on Pratt as a Navy SEAL whose platoon was ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission and returns home questioning who was responsible. Wu will play Katie Buranek, "a risk-seeking war correspondent who uses her byline to speak truth to power," per TVLine. "Katie left her desk at a prestigious news outlet to pursue high-impact stories on her own terms. Now at a crossroads in her career, she sets out to bring the truth about Reece and the conspiracy he’s fighting against out into the open." Wu's casting comes a year after ABC canceled Fresh Off the Boat after six seasons and nearly two years after her meltdown over the show getting renewed. It also comes one month after she was announced as part of a star-studded cast for the Amazon anthology series Silos.
