Chris Cuomo alleges CNN president Jeff Zucker knew about his involvement with brother Andrew Cuomo's sexual harassment scandal defense

“They were widely known to be extremely close and in regular contact, including about the details of Mr. Cuomo’s support for his brother,” a spokesperson for the fired CNN host told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday. “There were no secrets about this, as other individuals besides Mr. Cuomo can attest,” the spokesperson added. CNN denied Cuomo's allegations. "He has made a number of accusations that are patently false," CNN told the Wall Street Journal. “This reinforces why he was terminated for violating our standards and practices, as well as his lack of candor.”

• CNN president Jeff Zucker told employees that the law firm that investigated Chris Cuomo will conduct a separate probe of the sexual misconduct allegation against the fired CNN anchor: "That investigation will continue, as it relates to CNN," Zucker said.
• The new sexual harassment allegation against Chris Cuomo came from one of his former ABC News colleagues: "My client came forward at this time because she felt in sharing her story and related documentation, she could help protect other women," Debra Katz, the unidentified accuser's attorney, said in a statement on Sunday. She added that the woman wished to remain anonymous.
• Former CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin wants a woman to take over  Cuomo's timeslot: "I would like to see CNN put a woman in that 9 p.m. spot," she said in an Instagram video. "Not me. I've moved on. But there are plenty of brilliant women they can chose from."
