Paul Attanasio's Nancy revolves around the first female police chief of Los Angeles, while Under the Bridge, written by Everwood alum Rina Mimoun, "follows a surgeon who, when a scandal rocks the medical practice she runs with her husband and their friends, rises to the occasion and takes the lead in trying to mend both the practice and her own marriage."
