CBS announces fall premiere dates: Magnum P.I. premiere to get a boost from Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon

The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon will kick off CBS' fall season on Monday, Sept. 24, helping to drive viewers to the premiere of Magnum P.I. at 9 p.m. Both shows will return to their normal Thursday timeslots later that week. CBS also announced that the Murphy Brown revival will premiere after Mom at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27.
