Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak invited to perform at the Grammys after lobbying the recording academy

Earlier this week, Mars posted an open letter asking that his new band with Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic, be allowed to perform at Sunday's ceremony. The recording academy cheekily responded this afternoon, tweeting: "We have been trying to call you all week. Have you changed your numbers? We would love for #silksonic to make their TV debut at the #GRAMMYs. Are you free this Sunday night? Follow back and we will DM for details."
