American Gigolo halts production for two weeks as it undergoes another showrunner change

Starz's American Gigolo revival series is halting production for the second time in a month. Co-executive producer David Bar Katz, who assumed showrunning duties last month when the Showtime reboot's creator David Hollander was fired over misconduct allegations, has exited the series. The Offer executive producers Nikki Toscano and Russell Rothberg joined the series as consulting producers in wake of Hollander's exit. And now Toscano is expected to serve as showrunner with Rothberg's help. They'll use the two weeks to prepare filming of the final episodes of the Jon Bernthal-led series.
