ABC’s Greatest American Hero reboot will star an Indian-American female

The remake of the early ‘80s ABC superhero series will be reimagined with a heroine taking on the role originally played by William Katt. According to Deadline, the new Greatest American Hero will revolve around “Meera, a 30-year-old Indian-American woman from Cleveland whose talents include tequila drinking, karaoke and not much else. Then some aliens entrust her with a super suit to protect the planet, and the world has never been in more unreliable hands.”
