ABC boss: The Conners is considering killing off Roseanne Barr's character

ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey says the writers have to think up a reason for Roseanne Conner's absence. “We obviously had to come with an answer because we have to make the episodes and the characters have to have a point of view,” she says. “We’ve discussed all different versions about what we might do with the character.”
