YouTuber Connor, who goes by the online moniker Pinesap, was reportedly fired for his political beliefs. The influencer announced his alleged firing in his GiveSendGo campaign started on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, to raise money for an "emergency fund and for other expenses," as he hunts for a new job.

Per Connor, his employment was terminated after his appearance on the latest episode of Jubilee's web series Surrounded. It saw 20 self-identified “far-right” conservatives debate Mehdi Hasan, a political commentator (and Zeteo founder).

Notably, at one point during his appearance, he began praising Nazi legal theorist Carl Schmitt, prompting Hasan to ask if he was a "fan of the Nazis." To which Connor replied he didn't care about being called one. When asked if he condemned the "persecution of Jews," Pinesap stated:

"I think there was a little bit of persecution..."

This prompted a shocked Hasan to state:

"We may have to rename this show, because you’re a little bit more than a far-right Republican."

    In response, Conner proudly added:

"What can I say? I think you can say, ‘I’m a fascist.’"

Pinesap hails from Colorado and took influence from the local woods to form his online moniker

Pinesap runs the X account @FeelsGuy2003 and the Instagram account @pinesap3. He frequently shares posts surrounding God and Catholicism.

In a September 2024 interview on the Requiem Radio podcast, he described himself as the "online Catholic politics guy" who was trying to help Gen Z "embrace" Christ and the Catholic faith.

During the discussion, Conner explained he was born and raised in Colorado. Growing up, he was surrounded by pine tree forests and nature, subsequently influencing his online moniker, Pinesap. The influencer revealed he initially wanted to use the name "Pinesap Groyper," but reconsidered at a friend's urging.

It is worth noting that Groypers are a group of alt-right and white nationalist activists led by Nick Fuentes. They believe mainstream conservative organizations were too moderate in their approach towards nationalism and pro-white beliefs. They support the America First movement, per the influencer.

In his GiveSendGo campaign page, Connor explained being fired from the job due to "cancel culture" and "discrimination" against his political ideology. He wrote:

"Unfortunately voicing fully legal traditional right wing political views results in real consequences. This is cancel culture and political discrimination on full display."

However, he did not elaborate on his exact job or details surrounding the termination. As of this writing, the campaign has raised more than $23,000, much more than its original goal of $15,000.

During Mehdi Hasan's appearance on Surrounded, he began by stating Trump was "defying the Constitution." This prompted Connor to race to the debate seat and argue in favor of the President, stating he was doing "good," and adding:

"I think (Trump) should go further."

When Hasan asked if Democrats could do the same when they were in office, he asserted, "Absolutely not." This prompted Hasan to ask if he believed in democracy, which Connor refuted. He proclaimed to believe in "autocracy." When asked to clarify, he elaborated that he was fine with "anything in line with Catholic teaching."

Elsewhere during their back-and-forth, Pinesap asserted he was not ashamed of being a fascist, leading Hasan to state:

"The only good thing about this fascist moment we’re in is that you guys are so open about it."

Connor even claimed former Spanish dictator Francisco Franco was a "benevolent leader." Notably, his regime was known for its totalitarian (having no political opponents) ideology, forced labor, concentration camps, and mass executions.

Pinesap is set to appear on the Rift TV podcast on July 23 to discuss his Jubilee interview.
