    Five years after they last joined forces, The Suicide Squad sails back onto the screen in DC’s long-awaited sequel. The anti-superhero flick boasts an all-star cast of DCEU characters, including Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Idris Elba’s Bloodsport, and John Cena’s Peacemaker.

    Also today: The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Dallas Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Hall of Fame Game, Kevin Hart debuts his new Peacock talk show, and the women’s soccer gold medal match caps an exciting night of Olympics coverage. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    The Suicide Squad: Original movie. DC’s notorious task force of convicts are sent to destroy a Nazi-era laboratory in this sequel to the 2016 supervillain movie.
