ABC is ceding an entire night of primetime to this season's The Bachelor finale and an accompanying "After the Final Rose" special, but with the show's racial blindspots once again laid bare in recent weeks and Chris Harrison on "leave," tonight promises to be less about who Matt James gives his final rose, and more about how (or whether) the show can recover from what many see as its gross mistreatment of its first Black Bachelor. In a positive first move, tonight's "After the Rose" will be hosted by former NFL linebacker and Black thought leader Emmanuel Acho, who promises "the most uncomfortable conversation in the history of The Bachelor franchise."
