Jeopardy! Fans Are Loving Ken Jennings' First Week as Permanent Host

Season 39 premiered Monday with a new host and the show's first live audience in over two years.

    Jeopardy! is back with a new permanent host and a live audience, and fans are loving it.

    The quiz show returned for its 39th season this week, and Ken Jennings was finally announced as "the host of Jeopardy!", much to the delight of many viewers. 

    "I am so honored to be announced as the host of Jeopardy!," said Jennings, opening the show to enthusiastic applause. "But I’m even more excited to be here with you, beginning a new season with our Emmy-winning Jeopardy! staff and crew, with an audience back in the studio for the first time in two-and-a-half years, yes!"

    Fans took to Twitter to express their excitement about the new season and Jennings' official hosting duties, calling him a "class act" and a "great host":
