Wynonna Earp is on track to return in summer 2020 after experiencing funding woes

Season 4 of the beloved Syfy drama can finally begin shooting after being derailed over a lack of funding from producer IDW Entertainment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Season 4 is being made possible thanks to additional funding from Syfy and Wynonna Earp Canadian distributor Space. "We are absolutely thrilled that we get to make more Wynonna Earp, and are grateful to our networks and partners for working hard to ensure we can,” says creator Emily Andras. “This is an enormous testament to our passionate and fierce fans, the Earpers, who remind us every day how to fight like hell for the things you love with wit, ferocity and kindness.”
