Mike Fleiss, creator of The Bachelor sent out an ominous tweet on Wednesday night hinting at some kind of cancellation, which coincided with the news that Disney was planning to cut ABC jobs. “Tv trivia... Has a broadcast network ever canceled its No. 1 show???” he tweeted. Then on Thursday, he tweeted: “Hoping to make unbelievably shocking announcement today regarding #thebachelor. Waiting for final approval…” Fleiss’ tweets have sent Bachelor franchise fans into a tizzy of speculation, especially after GMA canceled plans this week to announce the new Bachelor — apparently because ABC wasn’t ready to make an announcement.
