With McLendon-Covey on board for a 10th season, the ABC comedy is expected to extend its run as the longest-running live-action network comedy series. It would also become one of the rare live-action sitcoms to hit double-digit seasons. McLendon-Covey has emerged as The Goldbergs' lead in wake of Jeff Garlin's exit and George Segal's death last year.
