The Bold Type renewed for a shortened fifth and final season

The Freeform magazine-set drama will return for one last season, consisting of six episodes. That's down from Season 4's coronavirus-shortened 16-episode season and the 10 episodes from each of the first three seasons. Freeform also announced Nikohl Boosheri will return to reprise her role as fan favorite Adena El-Amin. "The Bold Type is a brand-defining show for Freeform," Freeform president Tara Duncan said in a statement. "It’s been refreshing, relatable and fun to watch Kat, Jane and Sutton lean on their friendship to navigate the complexities of modern life.
