Suits to end with a shortened Season 9

Ahead of tonight's Season 8 winter premiere, USA has announced it has ordered a final chapter of Suits consisting of 10 episodes to air in summer 2020. The pickup will make Suits the longest-running USA original series, with 134 episodes. Creator Aaron Korsh tells Deadline he's been planning to end Suits since the end of Season 6. Korsh also addressed a tabloid report that NBC Universal has offered a multimillion-dollar charitable donation for Meghan Markle to return to Suits. "As of this minute I don’t know which of our old original cast will be back and which won’t because we’re so early in the season," he says. "I can tell you that those things in the papers, I have no idea what they’re talking about."
