Starz CEO Chris Albrecht is stepping down after nine years

Albrecht helped usher in TV's Golden Age as chairman and CEO of HBO, overseeing shows including The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Deadwood and The Wire. Albrecht worked for HBO from 1985 until he was asked to step down in 2007 following his arrest for assaulting his then-girlfriend. He joined Starz in January 2010 and helped establish the premium network with hits like Outlander and Power.
