Snowpiercer renewed for Season 2, moving from TNT to TBS

TBS has set a spring 2020 debut for its first drama series, Snowpiercer, which has been in the works at TNT since 2016. Starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs, the postapocalyptic drama is moving to TBS four years after TNT picked up the pilot. "Snowpiercer is the perfect show to kick off TBS' entry into dramas with intricate storytelling, stunning visuals and first-class acting,” said TBS and TNT general manager Brett Weitz. The move to TBS comes amid rumors that TNT and TBS originals will end up moving to WarnerMedia's new streaming service.
