Ruth Wilson’s The Affair body double claims she was sexually harassed when she complained about being described as “Alison’s Sexytime Double”

  • Ashlynn Alexander said she was fired soon after she voiced outrage for being reduced to a sexual object on a call sheet. Alexander said when she complained, an assistant director belittled and humiliated her. And she was fired a week later, with the show blaming her hair color for her exit. Showtime responded to the lawsuit this week, saying the “Alison Sexytime Double” description was appropriate, citing the movie Dunkirk: "It would make no sense, for instance, for an actor portraying a dying soldier on the beaches of Dunkirk to be dressed up for a fashion show, freshly showered, clean shaven and coiffed."
