Robert Kirkman sued over Invincible animated series profits

Comic book artist William Crabtree filed suit against Kirkman, alleging that he was tricked into abandoning his ownership stake on Invincible after co-creating the comic book series with Kirkman. “Fraud and deceit has become a standard business practice for Kirkman and is apparently where his true creative aptitude lies,” says Crabtree's attorney Devin McRae, who previously represented artist Tony Moore in his 2021 suit alleging that Kirkman tricked him out of his Walking Dead interest. That case was settled out of court.
