The sequel to Psych: The Movie, exploring the marriage between James Roday's Shawn and Lawson's Juliet, is named after Tim Omundson’s Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter. Asked if she'd return for a third movie, Lawson says: “I hope. Are you kidding? It’s my show, it was my family for eight years."
