“I thought he was treated unbelievably unfairly; he was given close to 18 years in prison," said Trump on Wednesday of Blagojevich, who was convicted of federal corruption charges for attempting to profit from Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat after Obama was elected president. Trump added: "I am thinking very seriously about commuting his sentence so that he can go home to his family after seven years." Blagojevich competed on Season 9 of Celebrity Apprentice in 2010.
