Rashad initially tweeted of her Cosby Show co-star getting released after his sexual assault conviction was overturned: “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!” After intense backlash, Rashad tweeted: “I fully support survivors of sexual assault coming forward. My post was in no way intended to be insensitive to their truth." Meanwhile, Rashad was slammed by another iconic TV mom, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Janet Hubert.
