Netflix gives The Witcher an early Season 3 renewal, sets more Witcher projects

The streaming service devoted the last part of its inaugural TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event for The Witcher news. In addition to announcing the fantasy series' Season 3 renewal three months ahead of its Season 2 premiere on Dec. 17, Netflix also revealed that a second anime feature film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, as well as a new kids and families series are in the works. Netflix also shared two clips from Season 2. One featured a look at Kristofer Hivju’s monstrous character Nivellen and the other focused on Ciri, played by Freya Allan. Netflix also dropped a The Witcher: Blood Origin set tour featurette and a Road to Season 2 trailer.
