Naya Rivera is the latest Glee tragedy

The 33-year-old Rivera, who is presumed dead in what the Ventura County Sheriffs are calling a "horrible accident" at Lake Piru, is the latest tragic figure associated with Ryan Murphy's 2009-15 Fox musical dramedy. In April 2011, Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling and Lea Michele were photographed together filming Glee in Central Park. Of the four, Rivera is presumed dead, Monteith died of a drug overdose in 2013, Mark Salling committed suicide in 2018 after he pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography and Michele last month was accused of abusive behavior on set, for which she apologized. As one insider tells the New York Post: "I don’t know if I would say it was cursed, but it’s unfortunate for most of them.
