NBC confirms Kenan Thompson will stay on SNL while juggling The Kenan Show

“Kenan is one of the best talents on NBC and has been on SNL for many, many years," said George Cheeks, NBC co-chairman of NBC Entertainment, during an upfronts conference call. "There are scheduling issues that we’re figuring out because we’re delighted he is going back to SNL next year but more Kenan on the network is a great thing.” Thompson will now star in three shows on NBC, including reality competition Bring the Funny.
