NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke is named the new leader of Amazon Studios, replacing the ousted Roy Price

The long search for Price’s replacement following his sexual harassment scandal is over. In naming her to lead Amazon's programming, Amazon touted Salke as “a big leader who emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and teamwork.” Salke, meanwhile, says of her new job: “In the studio’s relatively short existence they have innovated, disrupted, and created characters that are already an indelible part of pop-culture.  I am both honored and emboldened by the opportunity to lead this extraordinary business.”
