Michael Che sparks social media backlash promoting a Simone Biles sexual molestation joke

"man, wanna make fun of simone biles," the SNL star posted on his Instagram Stories, adding that he had three minutes of Simone Biles jokes in his head that he planned on performing at the Comedy Cellar. In an Instagram Stories post, Che promoted one of his follower's Biles joke that involved Larry Nassar, the former United States women's national gymnastics team doctor who's now an imprisoned sex offender. Biles was one of his victims. "goddamn, thats rough. absolutely tasteless. 9/10," Che wrote. Che later deleted his Instagram Stories and posts, as he often does, but the posts were preserved by the Twitter account Baller Alert. Che later joked: "maaannnn, i got hacked today. cant believe they got me. yall kno i only do jokes about whites and cops." Hair Love's Matthew A. Cherry was among those expressing outrage on Twitter, prompting Che's name to trend. "Michael Che is trash," Cherry tweeted.
