Leslie Jones tapped to host the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards

The SNL alum is set to helm the first MTV Movie & TV Awards ceremony in two years on Sunday, May 16. Last year, MTV decided to move the show to December because of the pandemic, then opted to turn into a special hosted by Vanessa Hudgens. Jones is nominated for an MTV Movie & TV Award this year for her role in Coming 2 America. This year's ceremony will take place over two days. The regular ceremony will air from the Hollywood Palladium on May 16, followed by the inaugural reality TV-celebrating Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted on Monday, May 17.
