LAPD is reportedly investigating Anthony Anderson for allegedly assaulting a woman

The Blast reports that a woman filed a police report earlier this year alleging that the Black-ish star assaulted her more than a year ago. The woman, according to The Blast, told police she first met Anderson when she catered an event for him. She alleges the assault occurred when they met for a second time to discuss future business opportunities. LAPD confirmed to The Blast, “we have a crime report listing him as a suspect in a crime,” adding, “it is an open investigation.” Asked for comment, a spokesperson for Anderson says: “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim.”
