How Megan Fox wound up hosting a Travel Channel archaeology show

The four-episode Legends of the Lost with Megan Fox, premiering Dec. 4, features the actress traveling around the globe to explore the world's great myths and mysteries. Fox admits that network executives were surprised when she came in with the idea for the show. "I mean, there was a general (laughs) sense of disbelief that this is something I’m genuinely passionate about," she says. "And then, depending on which topic and which thing we’re discussing, I can be quite knowledgeable on archaeology and antiquities, and I think that was also really surprising for people. And I think it was also something that was maybe a deterrent in pitching the show because everyone has the same question, which is, 'Is an audience going to believe that you know all of this stuff?'"
