ESPN's High Noon didn't fit in the hot-take world of sports TV

Bomani Jones and Pablo Torre took a smart approach to TV sports chat shows, and they averaged 330,000 viewers. But that number -- which is more than double the viewership of FS1's top sports talk show -- wasn't enough to keep ESPN from canceling High Noon on Monday. "The narrative that High Noon's ratings were abysmal just isn't true," says Jimmy Traina. "No matter what the spin is, I believe the cancellation was more about fit than numbers."
