Divorce Season 2 will have a lighter feel

  • “The first (season) was, on purpose, kind of dark and intense,” says showrunner Jenny Bicks. “It took place in the winter and everything about it was tough for them. They were not seeing what they ever had together in the past. I wanted this season to be the aftermath of the explosion.” For Season 2, she says, “it’s spring — so literally, it's lighter out. It's so easy when you're in the midst of a fight with anybody to blame the other person for everything that's gone wrong in your life and now, once you take a step back, you're not allowed to blame that person anymore.”
