As NFL’s ratings woes continue, Wall Street begins to worry that primetime ratings may suffer

  • Unlike last year, the presidential election can’t be blamed for falling NFL ratings. Yet for the second week in a row, NFL saw its viewership tumble. "Continued declines in NFL ratings again this season will likely place further downward pressure on media stocks," says Wall Street analyst Michael Morris, adding that "the NFL is an indicator of overall primetime programming ratings performance."
