Arrested Development's remixed Season 4 is much zippier, but it isn't much improved

Mitch Hurwitz's Arrested Development Season 4 Remix: Fateful Consequences transforms 13 30-plus minute episodes into 22 23-ish minute episodes, and the results are a better-paced and more binge-watching friendly show, says Kelly Lawler. However, that doesn't make up for Season 4's biggest flaw: that cast members filmed their scenes separately from each other. "The editing also can't fix the fact that they just couldn't get these actors in the same room very often," says Lawler. "The spark of Arrested was often in the chemistry between the entire ridiculous cast reacting off each other."
