Ariana Grande reportedly broke down in tears while performing an Aretha Franklin tribute on The Tonight Show

The singer, who was supposed to do a comedy skit with Jimmy Fallon during Thursday's visit, initially declined a request to do a tribute to The Queen of Soul, according to TMZ. But Questlove changed her mind. "Ariana brought the house down and got a standing O. We're told when Ariana left the stage she broke down in tears," says TMZ, which adds that her performance will open Thursday's Tonight Show.
