Apple picks up LGBTQ docuseries Visible: Out on Television from Wanda Sykes and Wilson Cruz

The five-part Visible: Out on Television will explore television's impact and how the LGBTQ movement influenced what we watch on TV. Each hourlong episode will explore themes such as invisibility, homophobia, the evolution of the LGBTQ character and coming out in the television industry. Sykes and Cruz, who will serve as executive producers, have tapped Janet Mock, Margaret Cho, Asia Kate Dillon, Neil Patrick Harris and Lena Waithe as narrators.
