Amazon's The Power is the first show to pull out of Georgia following its abortion ban

Director Reed Morano was supposed to spend this week scouting locations in Georgia for the global thriller based on Naomi Alderman's book of the same name, but The Power is leaving the state following the state's abortion ban. "We had no problem stopping the entire process instantly,” Morano, who won an Emmy for directing three episodes of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, tells Time magazine. “There is no way we would ever bring our money to that state by shooting there.”
