Survivor Kicks Off Season 40 With Long-Awaited Winners at War

    Ever since there were enough winners to make it possible, Survivor fans have dreamed of an all-winners season. Tonight, as the long-running reality series marks the start of its 40th season, Jeff Probst and team are finally giving fans what they want: twenty past winners competing for the show's first-ever two million dollar prize, and the coveted title of Ultimate Survivor. Who will rise to the challenge and who will buckle under the pressure? We've got our ideas, but only time will tell. Also tonight: The Masked Singer welcomes a special guest judge, Modern Family takes one last family vacation, and the rebooted Party of Five continues to shine a light on current events. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    SEASON PREMIERE: Twenty past Survivor winners return to Fiji for Survivor: Winners at War, where the returning champs will have to put all of their past experience to work for them, while learning to navigate all of the show's latest twists. The two-hour season premiere begins at 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    NEW EPISODE: Speaking of tough competition, the first group of contenders gets narrowed down to the top three on tonight's episode of The Masked Singer, and (if the promos are to be believed) an icon will be unmasked. Leah Remini joins the panel as a guest judge. 8:00 PM ET on Fox

    NEW EPISODE: The gang heads to Paris for one last Modern Family vacation, where Jay (Ed O'Neill) is haunted by the ghost of his dead rival, and Clair (Julie Bowen) pursues a clandestine encounter in the city of lights. Meanwhile, Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) takes his clown act to the streets. 9:00 PM ET on ABC

    NEW EPISODE:As Primetimer's Tara Ariano writes, halfway through its freshman season, Freeform's Party of Five reboot won't stop telling the ugly truth about U.S. immigration policy. In tonight's episode, Lucia (Emily Tosta) uses the restaurant to host a fundraiser, while Val (Elle Paris Legaspi) finds her cover is blown when the wrong person learns her true identity.     SERIES REBOOT: Jade Catta-Preta slips into the chair once occupied by Greg Kinnear, John Henson and Joel McHale, as E! bring back its long-running recap show The Soup, once again offering viewers an off kilter look at the most humorous and confounding clips from across the TV dial. 10:00 PM ET on E!

    MOVIE PREMIERE: Netlix's teen romance To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You picks up where 2018's To All the Boys I've Loved Before left off. Lara Jean (Lane Condor) and Peter (Noah Centineo) are ready to take their relationship to the next level, but one of her old love letters is stirring up complications. Watch the trailer.     NEW EPISODE: Dex (Cobie Smulders) looks into a soon-to-be-groom's true motives for a breakneck race to the altar on Stumptown, and learns that all is not as it seems with the happy couple. 10:00 PM ET on ABC

    NEW EPISODE: Jughead's academic career at Stonewall is thrown into doubt. Meanwhile, back in Riverdale, Archie (K.J. Apa) asks Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) for advice on life after high school. 8:00 PM ET on The CW
