MTV's Anheuser-Busch family reality show isn't planning to be the reality version of Succession

  • The Busch Family Brewed follows the Bush family -- Billy Busch Sr. and his wife, Christi, and their seven children -- who sold their iconic brewing company in 2008, as they try to build a new craft brewery in St. Louis. The Busches say they're aware of Succession, but their family isn't the Roys. “My son watches it all the time,” Christi tells Page Six of Succession. “And he says, ‘You have to watch this show cause it’s just like our family!'” Billy adds: “We’re really focused right now on building the brewery and having all the kids involved as much as possible as we do that. “And it’s not easy all the time. There’s a lot of challenges because everybody has their own ideas and everybody wants to go in certain directions. But the great thing we found is we can compromise. We can all, at the end of the day, decide on something and move forward in a direction we all agree on. Not everybody is always going to be happy, but it all comes from a place of love. As far as a succession — no, we haven’t really thought about who’s going to take over when that happens.”
