Apple's original TV shows reportedly won't be free -- it also plans to charge $9.99 each for HBO, Showtime and Starz

It was previously expected that Apple's new TV shows would be made available for free to all Apple users, but The Wall Street Journal reports that the company plans to charge a fee for its new Apple TV service that is being described as a "Netflix killer." Apple is also expected to offer cheaper subscription prices for HBO, Showtime and Starz, charging $9.99 for each of the premium cable channels.
