    Happy Labor Day Weekend! The return of The Lord of the Rings (which premiered Thursday night on Prime Video) isn’t the only thing worth celebrating this weekend — joining it are a host of other premieres, including supernatural mystery Devil in Ohio, Netflix’s Dated & Related, and Showtime documentary McEnroe.

    Plus, teenagers start a fake ID empire in Fakes, Rick and Morty returns for Season 6, Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown's Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul goes day and date in theaters and on Peacock, and the college football season kicks off in earnest. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this weekend:

    FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 2

    Devil in Ohio: Complete limited series. When hospital psychiatrist Dr. Suzanne Mathis (Emily Deschanel) shelters a mysterious cult escapee (Madeleine Arthur), her world is turned upside down as the strange girl’s arrival threatens to tear her family apart. The eight-episode series is adapted from Daria Polatin’s best-selling book, which was inspired by true events. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Dated & Related: Complete first season. Pairs of siblings help each other find love (and win $100,000) in this Love Island-style dating competition series. Hosted by Melinda Berry, who competed on Too Hot to Handle Season 2. Read our review. Streaming on Netflix

    Fakes: Complete first season. Teenage best friends Zoe (Emilija Baranac, To All The Boys) and Becca (Jennifer Tong, Grand Army) set out to build their own fake ID empire, but when business starts booming, their life of crime gets way too real. The Canadian dramedy also stars Richard Harmon. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul: Original film. Sterling K. Brown and Regina Hall play a pastor and first lady of a Southern Baptist megachurch who must rebuild their congregation after a scandal. The comedy from newcomer Adamma Ebo is the latest in a long line of films from Sundance 2022 to premiere on streaming. (It's debuting concurrently in theaters.) Watch trailer. Streaming on Peacock

    House of Hammer: Complete docuseries. Discovery+ chronicles the abuse allegations against actor Armie Hammer and the dark, twisted legacy of the Hammer family in this three-part series, produced by Casey Hammer, Armie's aunt. Watch trailer. Streaming on Discovery+

    Buy My House: Complete first season. Netflix mashes up Shark Tank and HGTV’s Buy Me in a new series that sees homeowners from across the country negotiate with one of four real estate tycoons to sell their properties. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Jurassic World Dominion: Streaming premiere. Four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Biosyn operatives kidnap Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon), prompting Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) to stage a dramatic rescue mission. Meanwhile, Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) reunites with Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to expose Biosyn’s latest conspiracy. The 2022 film serves as the third and final installment in the Jurassic World trilogy. Watch trailer. Streaming on Peacock

    Club Cumming Presents A Queer Comedy Extravaganza: Special presentation. Tony winner Alan Cumming hosts a cabaret-style gathering featuring seven up-and-coming queer comics in this 75-minute comedy special, Cumming’s first for Showtime. Watch trailer. 10:00 PM ET on Showtime

    Surface: Season 1 finale. Sophie (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) seems ready to move forward, but can she accept a life with James (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) while questions about her past still linger? Streaming on Apple TV+

    Sprung: New episodes. In the days leading up to the robbery of the Congresswoman, the crew face various obstacles that could derail their plan. Streaming on Amazon Freevee

    Ivy + Bean: Original films. Netflix adapts the popular children’s book series into three standalone films, each of which follows Ivy, a quiet, thoughtful girl, and her exuberant neighbor Bean as they embark upon a new adventure. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Killer Camp: New episode. A new camper disrupts the group dynamic at Camp Pleasant, but just as meaningful relationships begin to form, a sudden event sends the campers reeling. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

    The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert: Special presentation. The Foo Fighters, Travis Barker, Stewart Copeland, and other musicians gather at Wembley Stadium to honor late drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March at the age of 50. The entire event will livestream Paramount+ before it's condensed it into an hour-long CBS special airing later in the evening. 11:30 AM ET/8:30 AM PT on Paramount+, and 10:00 PM ET on CBS

    Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: UFOs: Special presentation. Jack Osbourne brings his friends, actors Jay Mewes and Jamie Kennedy, to Utah’s Uinta Basin in search of the truth behind UFOs. Watch trailer. Streaming on Discovery+

    Marry Me in Yosemite: TV movie. When Zoe (Cindy Busby), a top photojournalist, begrudgingly heads to Yosemite for her next coffee table book, she meets Jack (Tyler Harlow), an intriguing tour guide who opens her eyes to new possibilities as they take a journey together.
