Better Call Saul Approaches Its 'Tragic End,' The Bachelorette Brings Double the Drama

    It’s the final push for Better Call Saul. After a brief hiatus, the acclaimed drama returns to AMC tonight for its final six episodes. The remaining episodes bring Jimmy McGill’s (Bob Odenkirk) story into the Breaking Bad era and reveal the fate of Kim Wexler, who Rhea Seehorn reveals meets a “tragic end.”

    Also today: The Bachelorette’s two leading ladies will have viewers seeing double in Season 19, Kevin and Frankie Jonas host reality competition series Claim to Fame, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Monday:

    Better Call Saul: Season 6 summer premiere. The story of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), now known as Saul Goodman, finally links up with the events of Breaking Bad in the final six episodes of the AMC drama. Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) make a long-awaited appearance in the final season, which also wraps up the stories of various characters who don’t appear in Breaking Bad, including Rhea Seehorn’s Kim Wexler.     The Bachelorette: Season 19 premiere. ABC kicks its hit franchise into overdrive as 32 suitors compete for the affection of two women, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia. Season 19 marks the first time two women will lead the franchise at the same time. With host Jesse Palmer. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

    Claim to Fame: Series premiere. 12 celebrity relatives gather under one roof and work to conceal their lineage in the quest for their own fame and fortune. The group will compete in various challenges, form alliances, and play DNA detective in hopes of avoiding elimination and winning the $100,000 grand prize. Hosted by Kevin and Frankie Jonas.     Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem: Season 2 premiere. Beloved characters from the daytime soap trade the comforts of home for the adventure of a lifetime in a new season of Peacock’s spinoff. As Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) make a surprise their children in Seattle, private eye John Black (Drake Hogestyn) travels to San Francisco to see his son, and new parents Ben (Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) drop anchor in Montreal.     When Sharks Attack: Season 8 premiere. As shark attacks continue to rise, scientists investigate first-hand accounts, uncovering clues and details that will unravel the mystery behind the terrifying spike in incidents across the country. The new season premieres as part of Nat Geo’s annual SharkFest, which runs for four weeks. 8:00 PM ET on National Geographic

    POV: Wuhan Wuhan: Season 35 premiere. PBS kicks off a new season of its documentary series with a film that puts a human face on the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Director Yung Chang follows frontline healthcare workers in Wuhan, China as they grapple with the invisible, deadly virus during February and March, 2020. Watch trailer. 10:00 PM ET on PBS

    Below Deck Mediterranean: Season 7 premiere. Captain Sandy Yawn and a primarily new crew (with the exception of Season 6 favorite Mzi “Zee” Dempers) set sail in the Mediterranean aboard M/Y Malta for another season of yachtie drama.     BBQ USA: Series premiere. Chef and restaurateur Michael Symon heads to the biggest barbecue competitions around the country to showcase elite competitors and top-notch BBQ talent as they compete for ultimate bragging rights. 9:00 PM ET on Food Network

    Irma Vep: New episode. After an epic blow-up on set, the fate of Rene’s (Vincent Macaigne) series is put in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Rene gets a visit from a ghost as the production team considers taking The Vampires in a new direction that would reunite Mira (Alicia Vikander) with a figure from her past. 9:00 PM ET on HBO

    Mind Over Murder: New episode. After new DNA evidence surfaces, advocates push for a full exoneration of the Beatrice Six. As Burt Searcey’s investigative methods come under fire, a new story focused on the heinous actions of a killer — and the human toll of an investigation gone wrong — emerges. 10:00 PM ET on HBO

    Breeders: Season 3 finale. A furious argument between Paul (Martin Freeman) and Ally (Daisy Haggard) is interrupted by Ava’s (Jayda Eyles) news about Jim (Alun Armstrong). The comedy has yet to be renewed for a fourth season. 10:00 PM ET on FX
